"Rodeo is a way of life"

We received this pro-rodeo letter on Feb. 9 - our response is below:

You guys are a bunch of idiots.Rodeo has been around longer than any of you.Its not cruel its a way of life.And no matter how hard you try it will never stop.

Dear Lorrie:

You're wrong on two counts, we have stopped rodeos in three venues, which we are very proud of; and just because something is 'a way of life' doesn't make it acceptable or 'not cruel'.

Concentration camps and slavery were 'a way of life' as well, till someone put a stop to them.

And really, the name-calling doesn't help you make a persuasive argument.
