Dear Katrin & Animalkind Team,
I wanted to send you an update on Baby along with some pictures. My husband changed his name from Baby to Boomer. Something to do with what nuclear submarines are called because of how they look. Personally, we should have called him Buddha because he loves to have his belly rubbed and on more than a few occasions I've found him lying on his back with all four paws in the air, secretly hoping someone would come by and rub his belly!
The adjustment time was short, he's about two times the size of the other cats I have here, so I think they decided that all was well with the new guy. He follows me around the house, but a nice window is always a draw too..
I have told many people about your organization and how impressed I was with how the cats are kept. Hopefully, it'll lead to more adoptions!
I especially love the pink cages!
Regards,
Tracey Johnson.
Breakfast! Yummy!
One of many windows that he enjoys looking out of.
Enough of the bird watching, time for a nap!

Animalkind Inc.is a not-for-profit welfare, protection, rescue, rights organization dedicated to the compassionate care and humane population control of abandoned, feral and stray cats in Hudson, New York (Columbia County) and the surrounding area. We promote non-lethal prevention of an unwanted litter or litters of kittens through trap, spay, neuter, release (return), (tnr, TNR). An altered cat or kitten is released into a managed colony. Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily care. Adoption to homes providing love and care for cats and kittens is encouraged. We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and education through the media, special events, and publications to promote compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
