Art for Animals Classic

Rules and Guidelines

• Submitting an entry for consideration grants NAVS permission to use the art on behalf of the Society. Previous winning entries have been reproduced on color posters, in NAVS publications, on greeting cards, and other media. The artist is always given full credit.

• Artwork will be returned to sender only if return packaging and postage are enclosed with entry.

• Submit no more than three (3) entries per person.

• Art for Animals Classic is open to all, except employees of NAVS and their immediate families.

• Entries must be original work.

• Entries will be judged by an independent panel of judges.

• NAVS reserves the right to not award all prizes if contest submissions are not suitable.

• Acceptable Media: Paintings (oil, acrylic and watercolor), Photographs, Poems and/or stories, Drawings, Prints, Computer Graphics, Video performances. Any approved media may be entered with slides or unframed prints. Clear reproductions are essential to fair judging. Winners may be invited to submit actual works.

• Deadline for submissions is May15, 2009. Winners will be notified after May 30, 2009.
