From Rebecca Weeks - 26 Jun 2007 I had never eaten foie gras until august of this year while on a trip to France. I had no idea how these animals were force fed until I returned to the US and learned of Chicagos banning of foie gras. I was researching why the city would take such action when I came upon your web site. I was sickened by this cruelty and ashamed that I ate this food without knowing how it is created. Thank you for educating me and others. Of course I will never eat foie gras again. Reply from Frank and Mary Dear Rebecca: Thank you very much for you very encouraging comments. Please tell as many other people as you can. In the Love of the Lord, Frank and Mary Return to Visitors' Comments |
