Position:
Research Coordinator
Duties:
* Coordinate outreach and education campaigns on animal experimentation
issues
* Examine and distill research protocols and scientific documents
* Perform library and Internet research
* Provide input and advice on current and upcoming projects
* Maintain project databases
* Respond to correspondence and public inquiries
* Other duties as required by supervisor
Qualifications:
* Ability to handle multiple, varied tasks
* Strong writing and research skills
* Attention to detail
* Effective communication skills
* Commitment to objectives of the organization
* Successful candidate is resourceful and able to show initiative and
creativity in accomplishing assignments
* Scientific background/advanced degree a plus
* Supervisory/employee management experience helpful but not required
Remuneration:
Salary commensurate with experience
