Help Animals
India
December 2013
India is a land of intense contrasts. Sublime beauty and joy coexist side by side with endless heartache and tears. Though ahimsa (the ethic of harmlessness) is well-accepted in Indian culture, it seldom translates into compassionate behavior towards animals. The result is a country teeming with homeless, starving, abused, sick or injured street animals, from dogs and cats to not-so-sacred cows.
We hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits this holiday season. We are so grateful for your donations to India's animals that have funded so many great activities.

Help Animals India is dedicated to helping those who walk the talk of ahimsa: the dedicated shelter workers, the fearless animal advocates and other groups and individuals who bring healing, security, comfort and dignity to India's animals every day.
