Dr. Margaret Towolawi is a children's book author and family physician. Her first book, Ayomide’s Train Ride to Graceland , was inspired by the loss of her daughter and the subsequent birth of son. She wrote Ayomide’s Train Ride to Graceland hoping that other families who have experienced pregnancy loss and have had rainbow babies will use the book to start the conversation around loss with their child/children while honoring and holding space for their angel babies. Her second book, Ayomide and Seyi's Kitchen, inspires children to develop a love for diverse plant foods at an early age. The book takes reader on a whirlwind "alphabet tour" of the family's kitchen.
