Let Catalog Publishers Know how you Feel about their Products

I'm sure you are as inundated with catalogs as we are.  If you skim through them, you will see numerous offensive products.

Well, Elizabeth Joshi, a longtime member of C.A.S.H., shares her important letter to a catalog company that sells certain products that are harmful to animals and people.  She shares the address and her letter:

To: CEO Carol Wright Gifts, 100 Nixon Lane, P.O. Box 7823, Edison, NJ 08818-7823

Dear CEO,

I wrote Harriet Carter in August 2012 after I ordered the Squirrel Chasers, and read the ingredients of hazardous waste products according to our Putnam County Hazardous Waste Department.  These ingredients have no place either at the house or anywhere else for that matter. The fumes are extremely irritating to the mucous membranes and respiratory system. I think the manufacturer of the Squirrel Chasers has really tried to be deceptive saying there is a natural scent that will repel the squirrels - mothballs are not natural, they are made with poisonous chemicals.

Kindly remove these from your catalog and substitute something worthwhile that is non-hazardous to one's health.

Children love to investigate things.  Imagine if they should open one of these bags and try to sample the product - what then?
