OH- Hunter dies when tree falls on him

The Lake County Coroner's Office said today that a hunter died of chest and abdominal injuries over the weekend, when a tree he had climbed to hunt from fell and landed on him.

Shawn Wirtzberger, 47, of Madison Township, had climbed a dead tree, a spokeswoman said.

After getting a call that Wirtzberger had not returned home by Saturday evening, Sheriff's deputies searched woods in Leroy Township and found his body Sunday morning.
