Man Strangled By Hunting Harness
Investigators: Man Fell From Tree Stand
December 2, 2007
COLUMBUS, Ind. -- A man was killed in a hunting accident in
southern Indiana over the weekend.
Investigators said Ronnie Tempest, 52, of Greensburg, was
strangled in a hunting harness on Saturday in a wooded area near
South Crossing Lane.
Police said they think Tempest was trying to climb into a tree
stand when his hunting harness wrapped around his neck, causing him
to slip and fall from the tree.
Tempest was part of a group hunting on private property.
