Man dies in hunting accident

An Eastman man was killed by his son in a hunting accident Friday
in Dodge County.
John Peacock, 39, died from a gunshot wound to abdomen at 9:55
p.m. at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Bibb County Coroner
Leon Jones said.
Peacock and his 12-year-old son were hunting deep in the woods
when the accident involving a rifle occurred, Jones said.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident. No
other information was available.
