Man fatally shot north of Walhalla while hunting
WALHALLA - A man was fatally shot Saturday morning north of Walhalla
while hunting, according to Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis.
Officials of the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, the South Carolina
Department of Natural Resources and the county coroner's office have been
involved in the investigation of the case.
Two men were out hunting boar, and one of the men was shot. The shooting
is being investigated as of 1 p.m. Saturday as accidental, Addis said.
