NH man injured in turkey hunting mishap
May 4, 2009
SULLIVAN, N.H. (AP) - A Sullivan, N.H., man is recovering after his
brother shot him in a hunting accident.
The state fish and game department says 27-year-old Josh Lazzaro and his
29-year-old brother, Scott Lazzaro, were both shooting at the same turkey
Monday morning without realizing they were in each others' line of fire.
Josh Lazzaro was hit with several bird shot pellets in the upper body.
His injuries were not life-threatening, but officials say the incident
illustrates the need to be sure of not only your target, but what's beyond
it.
