Portland man dies in Alaska accident
PORTLAND — The body of a Portland man who drowned while on a hunting trip
in Alaska was recovered this week from the Sagavanirtok River.
Rick Taylor, 48, was in a hunting party of six when he fell into the
river on Sept. 16. His body was found Monday.
He was a 1979 graduate of Jay County High School, an employee of American
Electric Power and the father of three daughters.
