Child Shot in the Head in Dawson County - Dawson County investigators said that a child was shot in the head Friday night.

The Sheriff's department said the child may have been shot in a hunting accident.

The shooting happened in the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management area, which is a popular hunting spot.

The child's condition was not immediately known Friday night. The child's name has not been released.
