WIEN - Jason Borchardt, 40, of Edgar was shot Saturday morning in a
hunting incident off Highway N near the intersection of Highway M in the
town of Wien.
The Marathon County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call at 9:04 a.m.
from a member of the man's hunting party. He was shot in the upper chest
near the shoulder; the wound did not appear to be life threatening, said Lt.

It is suspected that the shot came from a party hunting to the east of
where the victim was hunting, Wisnewski said. The names of the suspects have
not been released.
The victim was transported to Aspirus Wausau Hospital by ground
