Man Killed In Anderson County Hunting Accident

A man died in an Anderson County hunting accident on Sunday evening.

Search crews were called to the Lover's Leap area to around 10 p.m. after a man was reported missing for several hours. Officials say crews found the body shortly after arriving on the scene, but the recovery took nearly three hours.

Officials say the man died as the result of some sort of hunting accident, but did not release any other details.

The coroner says he will not release the victim's name until he can notify relatives in another state.
