A hunting accident in Campbell County was reported to the
Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency on Wednesday. Wildlife Officer
Ken Cutsinger investigated the incident involving Brad Shaneyfelt of
Jacksboro.
Mr. Shaneyfelt advised while hunting, he was cleaning mud from
the muzzle of his gun when it discharged striking him in the right
hand at the thumb. Mr.
Shaneyfelt was transported to UT Hospital.
The incident occurred on TVA property on Campbell County and is
still under investigation.
