CORNISH, N.H. (AP/CBS) — 54-year-old Everett Gray is recovering
after an eight-point buck gored him with an antler after being shot.
Gray shot the deer near his home Thursday afternoon and then
moved in to finish the kill with a knife.
He said the
white-tail lunged at him, piercing his abdomen with an antler point
and lifting him off the ground. The deer pushed him down a
slope before he managed dislodge the antler point from his side.
Gray said his hunting days are most likely over.
