We began this Advice section as a means of assisting our visitors in answering many of their health and diet questions, and in encouraging them to take a pro-active part in their own health. We believe that the information contained herein is true, but are not presenting it as the only solution to a problem. We, personally, have found that a vegan diet has helped our own health, and simply wish to share with others the things we have found. Each of us must make our own decisions, for it's our own body. Diet and Health
Hello Gerry -
Thank you so much for sharing your testimony about healing from an ovarian cyst. I had been following a diet close to the Hallelujah Diet, then decided to go completely into it - today.
GC: CONGRATULATIONS! Laurette, for putting your health first!
I am, by the grace of God, in the healing process from an ovarian cyst and fibroid tumors.
GC: Thousands of women face the same dilemma but don't realize they have a choice between mutilating their bodies, facing impaired health and an earlier demise or unlearning poor lifestyle choices that caused the problem in the first place.
Could you please tell me, Gerry, did the cyst begin to gradually disappear by following the all raw/or mostly raw diet?
GC: No, it didn't, Laurette. Perhaps because I thought just eating raw was the answer and, because fruit was the easiest and most simple, I switched to pretty much a fruitarian diet not realizing that starches and sugars feed the disease.
Did the fasting make the biggest difference -
GC: For me, I would say it did, but again it might have been because I had not yet learned to fine-tune my diet. Still, a supervised fast under the care of a tried-and-true professional, I believe, is the most successful way to re-educate oneself while allowing the body to rid itself of the toxin-caused diseases.
or going to raw foods (or almost raw foods)? Any cooked foods at all (as with HDiet?).
GC: It took me 3 fasts over a period of 3 years, the last year on a very strict, mostly vegetables, all-raw diet before my body had the vitality to heal itself.
Thank you for sharing anything you can. I appreciate how pressed you may be for time.
GC: I appreciate you acknowledging that, Laurette, because it is so very true;-)
Your 4th of July extravaganza sounds awesome! I wish I were nearer (we live in the Ozark foothills of NE Oklahoma).
GC: I understand.
Do you have other programs coming up -- and are consultations available?
GC: At the moment I'm over my head in commitments, some of which I'm unable to keep;-(
Thank you for your time, and may God richly bless you!
GC: God has richly blessed me, Laurette, and you, I'm sure. Good luck in your quest for health. And remember the more raw, fresh, greens you can eat, the better. For me, Romaine and Cabbage work very well, but to each his/her own...;-)
