Pastor Patricia Hedges - West Los Angeles, California

It is our hope to start up a non-denominational, Christian animal ministry within the West Los Angeles, California area. Our vision is to start with small groups of those whose companion animals have become lost, who are ill, or who have passed away. These groups would share their love, pain, and experiences with one another in the hope of gaining comfort from such sharing. Prayers for the participants and their animals would be included in this ministry. Assurance would be given that animals are fellow living souls who do go to Heaven. Burial services at pet cemeteries would be offered for those who would like to so honor their beloved companion animals who have passed away.

From this, it is hoped that the ministry would develop enough in the future to establish a small church whose focus would be assisting others in embracing the concept that all animals can help us come to a greater understanding of God’s infinite love for humanity and all His creatures through their forgiveness and unconditional love.

My background is a Master of Divinity Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Pastoral Care.
