Fly High Little Opie
We’ve been through a lot together over these 16 years, Opie and I. Her
high-pitched cockatiel whistle was a soundtrack in my home for all these
years, and there was a lot of power behind her song. Her life force was
high.

Scrambling for Solutions: Ethical Choices for Easter Eggs
Easter embodies hope and
new beginnings; except, that is, for the billions of lives whose
exploitation is the basis of an increasingly popular and thoroughly
unsustainable seasonal celebration… The continuous laying of eggs by
chickens, unlike most other birds, is a result of selective breeding and
genetic manipulation, representing a cruel tinkering with their bodies and
reproductive systems.

experts warn that 2024 has strong potential to be another record-breaking
year. The sea ice around the Antarctic is just not growing. The temperature's just going off the charts. It's like an omen of
the future.

'Mystery' Stingray Conception Highlights Aquarium Shortcomings in Basic Animal Biology, Welfare, and Visitor Education Efforts
Charlotte showed evidence of having been bitten extensively by the sharks in
her tank so it was first assumed she had been impregnated by one of the
sharks. It turns out that Charlotte reproduced asexually (a process called
parthenogenesis, in which embryos develop in the absence of fertilization);
a known and studied phenomenon that the aquarium still seems baffled by and
referred to as a 'miracle.' Although most used by plants and invertebrate
organisms, parthenogenesis has become increasingly observed in vertebrate
species.

Innocent Betrayed
Innocent betrayed is about how most of the human race has betrayed God and
His creation by not caring for and protecting the whole of His creation as
He charged us to do when He created the heavens and the earth and all who
live upon it. God gave us the animals to be our companions, and instead of
protecting the earth from evil, humans began killing and eating some of the
animals instead of eating the plant foods that God created for us to eat;
thus, humans began betraying these innocent animals and the trust that the
Lord had given us, and this has gotten even worse over the years, and human
beings became more and more depraved.
