More and more evidence points to the probably most effective
solution to curb global warming: eating less or no meat. As the
article points out, farmed animals are human inventions, just like
cars, in the sense that every molecule of CO2 they produce adds to the
greenhouse gases in the atmosphere that were not there before
pre-industrial times. Adding to the problem is that the increasing
demand for animal products also increases the demand for oil thus
raising the price of it.

We are at a critical point were the environment might not be able
to buffer so much irresponsibility and carelessness on humanity’s
part. We live on Earth… our only home… there’s really not a plan B.
Doesn’t it makes sense then to keep the planet clean, healthy and
harmonious? A plant-based diet is a key piece that enables us to do
just that.
