Dear Lenin:
Think about it this way: human children are always doing things that their parents don’t like, but sometimes, parents just have to let the children learn from the errors of their ways. This is the same kind of concession that God was faced with.
Parents don’t want to do these kinds of things, or have their children do them, but when they do, it’s in the hope that their children learn from their errors, and return to their parents understanding of what is right for their lives. This is what we are referring to in the article.
