We agree with your analysis.
This also seems to be the problem with many, if not most, of the clergy.
It’s not hard to tell when people lack true compassion. If they had any, they could not have made the remarks they did to you, for even if they didn’t have compassion for the animals, they should have had compassion for you and your feelings, and because they didn’t even have that much compassion, it shows their sociopathic nature.
