Christian Bowhunters of America
Is it really Christian?
Comment by Matthew White – 20 Dec 2005

Veronica,

I don't want to get into a theological debate but throughout scripture the killing of animals is very prevalent. God killed the first animals in the garden of Eden to use as coverings for Adam and Eve. Animal sacrifices were made on a constant basis and Jacob asked Esau to go and kill so he could enjoy wild game. The list goes on and on. I can say as far as your reference to PETA, If you are a total vegetarian and eat no flesh of any kind, including fish and have no animal products such as leather in your possession then I can respect you completely. If not you should remove the Log from your own eye before casting judgment on others.
