Dear Jessie:
Thanks for your explanation, and there is no need to apologize for the way
you were raised.
We are so happy to hear about the way you let the older chickens live out
their lives naturally. Very few egg farmers do that.
The way you feel about your hens is the way we should feel about all
animals. Even though we haven’t had a personal relationship with the male
chicks, our sense of compassion extends to them too, and we don’t want them
to suffer and die either, which the egg industry causes them to do.
We look forward to hearing from you again.
