You're claiming what your translation of the Bible says, but you STILL haven't quoted anything from it to prove your point. And when I read over Genesis 1, I find nothing that could be at all interpreted as animals having souls. It does say God saw that what he created was good, but that doesn't everything he created has a soul--after all, he declared light good, land and water good, day and night good, and plants good, but I'm sure you don't mean to suggest they have souls too. It seems more evident that God was declaring his OWN actions good or that he liked what he created, rather than saying they have a soul.
So...what in Genesis 1 makes you think animals have a soul?
