Thank you for the explanation, but you haven't explained your positions on the unbelievable cruelty associated with factory farming. How does that work into your equation?

Also, there were several sects of Judaism in Israel at the time of Jesus that did not eat any flesh and did not kill lambs for Passover. The fact that the Bible is devoid of any reference to the disciples killing or eating a lamb for Passover, is a strong indication that lamb was not involved; and the term "prepare the Passover" most likely meant the other things associated with the holiday celebration.

If we couple this with Jesus' cleansing of the Temple, this understanding is enhanced.
