Living in the Will Rather than the Concessions of God
Comments by Frank and Mary Hoffman - 18 Aug 2008Dear Ivor:
Nice to hear from you again.
Just remember that Peter refused to eat of what the Lord told him in his dream. See: Acts 10:1-11:18
God wants a soft heart and soul that is obedience to His will. Concessions are for the heard-of-heart in the hopes of leading them back to the will of God, just as Jesus explained about marriage and divorce (Matthew 19:3-9). See: Biblical Examples of Concessions
So, should we refuse the fish? By all means, and just eat the bread.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
