References to Food in Scripture

Dear Patricia:

We can always try to hide from the truth, as you seem to be doing in your letter, that humans and other animals feel pain and suffer, and that plants do not. Are you trying to justify your inflicting pain on other creatures as a way hiding from the your conscience.

We're also surprised that you took the Bible out of context by isolating Genesis 1:28 from 29-31. God very clearly explains that subjection does not include eating animals, and this is very good in the sight of God.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank
