Dear Patrick:

Thank you very much for your in-depth comments, which we agree are the intent of God. However, you seem to discount the main point of this discussion/commentary that the original language clearly indicates that these are animals and not angelic beings.  John easily could have used another word, but he didn't.  He clearly stated that he saw animals in heaven.

We also believe that 9:3 is a concession to the hardness of the human heart. See Genesis 8:21 and Matthew 19:3-8.
