Dear Debbie:
The main thing that has happened is that the Chinese have lost most of their world market for raccoon dog fur. We don't know very much about what is happening in China.
The reason they torture these poor animals is for entertainment, and we agree with you that they have have to answer to God for their cruelty.
In the meantime, we have to keep up the pressure by telling as many other people as we can not to buy any fur product, or for that matter, any product of animal exploitation.
