Doctrine of the Trinity

Dear Frank
I do a lot of theological reading. I am interested in your opinion of the Doctrine of the Trinity. We are all part of the family of God. I understand that the doctrine of the Trinity was decided at the Council of Nicea. Is it biblical? Or is it a man made denominational pronouncement? What are your thoughts?
I know this is a deep question, we have been friends for a long time. I am interested in what you and Mary think?
