St. Johns County becomes the first Florida county to ban balloon
and sky lantern releases
Good news! St. Johns County in Florida has banned balloon releases. Several towns within the county had already enacted ordinances to ban the flyaway trash - now the entire county bans the littering!
So thankful for local leaders who have realized Florida state's current balloon law is not clear or strict enough.
Way to go St. Johns! Who's next?
