Trophy hunters pay to hunt and kill wild animals with the goal of
keeping their body parts as trophies. By seeking trophies, these
hunts prove their motives are nothing to do with humane wildlife
management. Trophy hunting is not conservation, it is exploitation.
Our report reveals the lack of legislation, regulation, and
protection for the animals being hunted. Hunters are not required to
have any previous gun experience or qualifications, and there’s no
responsibility to minimize animals’ suffering.
