Challenge to Christians It would be very good if those of us who profess to be both
Christians and vegetarians were to take up Mrs. Lawson's challenge. We
could back her "Fellowship of Life" by joining it, and by drawing the
attention of our clergy or ministers to its challenge, particularly so
at the time of World Day for Animals but also at Christmas. Many people
are too afraid to openly say when taking part in festivities that they
reject flesh foods. It evidently does not occur to people in general to
associate Christianity and vegetarianism. It is, however, historically
