Modbury, in Britain, is the latest town to ban plastic shopping bags because they are bad for the environment. Which will be the first town to ban the sale of meat because it is far worse for the environment? According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization the livestock industry causes more global warming than the entire world's transport and 'is one of the most significant contributors to today�s most serious environmental problems'.
