Being subjected to the "rape rack" and the pain of pregnancy and childbirth, then having your precious babies stolen each year and being forced to live permanently inside a barn is living the good life?(Cows on Fonterra’s Tangshan dairy farm in China enjoy the good life, 29/10/10)
All of this sounds obscene to me! Cows are intelligent, sensitive beings who, like us, deserve to enjoy a natural life and nurture their young. They are devoted mothers and the continual kidnapping of their calves causes them immense anguish.
Just as human milk is intended solely for human babies, cows milk is intended solely for cow babies - and nobody else.
The dairy Industry is a ruthless industry that cruelly exploits mothers and babies for nothing but profit.
