True Christian living requires us to live according to Kingdom standards which bring Heaven to earth.
“What Kind of Saint Are You?”
Today is Wednesday, December 14th, the third week in Advent.
Each of us are called to be saints in our own way. We are called to do his good works. We are called to respect and lift up all life. We are called to be humble about what we do, but not meek or silent. We are called to help the poor, hurting, voiceless, and forgotten.
As Father Richard Rohr states in his "In The Beginning" audio series on claiming the original Christian narrative, " ... cosmology, the shape of the universe, is becoming the shape of theology ..." and we have created a very small concept of God. And I also personally think that we've created a very small concept of the entire trinity.
The Cosmic Christ is how I view Christ and there is communication, compassion, and a place in heaven for all life here on earth. The Holy Spirit is not just limited to humans. Neither is the Lord. (I also, for many years, have subscribe to Father Rohr's definition of dualism and how so many of us are asleep. It would be worth your while to check it out.)
It is time to begin lifting up those that are already working to end the suffering of creation along with those working for the same for humanity. We must unite and lift each other up and stop tearing each other down.
