Isaiah 48:17 Good News Translation
17 The holy God of Israel, the Lord who saves you, says:
“I am the Lord your God, the one who wants to teach you for your own good and direct you in the way you should go.
God Himself is our teacher. He is all knowing and all wise and understands us better than we understand ourselves. Through His instruction and guidance, He keeps us from making decisions that could destroy us. Without His divine intervention we would falter and the possibilities we have as Christians would become impossibilities.
God is proud of His creation and calls all that He created, good. He intentionally made us unique individuals designed to be an expression of His divine nature. In some ways we are interdependent with one another, all being a part of His greatness. In our spiritual DNA we possess a characteristic that reveals a part of God. Just as there are many methods of healing and yet there is only one healer, it is the same with how each of us represent God in our own individual way that is created by God. In the bible God describes us in the kingdom as body parts different from one another and yet all have the same importance.
With each spiritual gift and each specific way of communicating to others, we bring encouragement and healing into difficult situations. The lessons and experiences on our spiritual journey are distinct to what we must learn and what tools we need in order to touch the lives along our path. These lives are divine appointments from God and with detailed precision He brings together those with specific needs and those He has called to meet those needs.
God directs our way according to His plans and purposes for our life. If we rebel against Him, we rebel against His wonderful plans for us and we are the ones who will miss out.
His constant watch over us is for our own good and even before we turn a wrong way, if we listen to Him, He is faithful to re-direct our steps back onto the path that will give us life and blessings.
Challenge: when you are not getting what you think your way should be, reconsider that God knows what He is doing because He knows exactly what you need.
God bless

The purpose of this series is to encourage people to live as loving, compassionate, and peacemaking children of God: Jesus tells us to pray, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10) God tells us through Micah (6:8), "He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God." And we know from Revelation 21:4 that there will be no more mourning, or crying, or pain, or death. Thus, Christian living requires us to set the standards of these conditions here on earth for our fellow human beings, and for the other animals, as a witness to the rest of the world. To do otherwise is not Christian.
