Happy Valentine’s Day, Mary

I looked at the flowers as they bloom each year,
And I thought,
You have bloomed even brighter in my heart,
And you do it all the year round,
Even for 40 years.

I look at the pain and suffering in the world,
and when I look at you,
I know there is still hope,
For in you is the heart and soul of a future
Filled with love and peace.

It is you, my Valentine,
who brings joy to my heart,
Peace to my soul,
And the spark of life to my spirit.

I love you very much!
