Many pastors today are not called, but self appointed, pulling the wool over the eyes of their flock. Their mission, is not to feed the flock…but to feed themselves. To them it’s a living, like any other profession, except it’s not.
The calling to feed the children of God is from God. You don’t sell to them, you give to them. You don’t share commentary with them, you teach them the scriptures. The pastor disappears and God is lifted up.
But the majority of fellowships worldwide are guided by pastors, who share a common trait with their flocks…their focus is on the pastor and not God. This was the way it was in the days of Jesus and the way it is today.
This is why most who claim to be spiritual are weak and afraid. They need to be fed with The Word Of God. No commentary, no translations, just the simple truths in the Bible.
Religious marketers and publishers want you to believe, that to unlock the secrets of the Truths of the Bible, you have to buy something they’re selling. If you want to understand the deeper Truths of The Bible, obey the simple Truths. If you are obeying what Truths you do understand, you will have clarity to understand the deeper Truths.
Religious intellectuals have no intentions of obeying the Truth, they just want to archive them in their minds, so they can show others, how really deep they are. They study the religious doctrine of choice, so they can stand before a congregation and impress on them, how well they grasp the deep things of God.
False pastors believe, if the Bible isn’t as confusing to the congregation as they make it out to be, the flock wouldn’t need them. Then the sheep wouldn’t give money to the pastor’s favorite cause anymore…themselves.
