Victoria Moran will talk about her new book “Main Street Vegan.”  Appetizers and dessert reception.  At Rhinebeck Town Hall.  Time 2PM.

On Saturday, May 19 at 6:30 PM, The MidHudson Vegetarian Society will hold our 4th ANNUAL GALA! Gourmet vegan dinner.  There will be live music, (Elaine Rachlin quartet) and a  silent auction.  Will be held at the Rhinecliff Hotel, where we had a spectacular time in 2011. Save the Date.

The MHVS Annual Meeting will be held on April 28th, Saturday at 2 PM at Rhinebeck Town Hall.  Guest Speaker, author Victoria Moran,  will talk about  her book “The Love Powered Diet” as well as a new book coming out that week. There will be a reception with appetizers and desserts being served.

April 22 ~ Sunday afternoon ~ The Mid-Hudson Vegetarian Society members will serve refreshments following the Rhinebeck Chamber Music Concert at Church of the Messiah, Rhinebeck.  We  need people to make food and set-up and serve.  Will receive free ticket[s] to concert.

March 25, Sunday at 1:30 PM.  In celebration of the  Great American MeatOut, there will be a free showing of “Get Vegucated” at Upstate Films in Rhinebeck. A reception at the Rhinebeck Town Hall will follow with a talk by the filmmaker, Marisa Miller Wolfson. Doors open at 1 PM, first-come first=served.
