Acquaint now thyself with him.
These are divine words in which we cling.
This is a beautiful phrase of a bygone era.
Yet sadly to him we are in no way nearer.
Acquaint now thyself with him who formed the stars above.
Acquaint now thyself with him who first taught us to love.
Get to know him who drives the galaxies and universe.
Without his hand, everything would stop and go in reverse.
Acquaint now with him who was here before time began.
God was present when the earth was nothing but molten mud and sand.
Acquaint now thyself with him before we actually have to face him.
When we walk before him, let our hearts be joyful and our souls to sing.
Acquaint now thyself with him when we are in turmoil and distress.
He will help us because he understands and knows what is best.
Are we to proud or arrogant to give God a few moments of every day?
Have we nothing to say?
I would rather have as a friend and mentor God himself.
God makes no mistakes; he won’t simply leave us on the shelf.
Acquaint now thyself with him.
For God is everything and is everything.
