Always a Song

Always a song for every season
To brighten the skies when the night is long.
When the fires of pain rage without reason. 

He always gives a song.

There's always a song when life overwhelms;
'Tis sure to come on the wings of dawn
To perch in the heart of the doleful one.
There to make it His own.

There's always a song in the midnight hour
When the heaviest of burdens are borne.
The brow's weighed with the cares of life
And the heart sings alone.

The Lord gives a song to comfort the soul.
He always gives a song.
