All of God's creatures have rights, a fact that most people don't seem to recognize. This includes both human and non-human animals, but not all of them can speak for themselves. [See Amy's Art]
Did I Do Something Wrong?
By Amy
"Is it me, is that why you're going, did I do something wrong?
I swear if it is something that I can change, my will is all so strong.
It's too soon yet, to throw away, all the love that I could give you,
The world without you is just a place that I could not warm to.
Don't you see, what we could be, the potential that's between us?
We have time yet to grow in love and happiness and trust.
Don't be brash, let's talk this through, I'm sure there’s a better outcome,
This can't be it. I refuse to accept that your heart could truly be this
numb."
"It's not you, trust me, it's just who I am and it's something that I
can't control
But please believe me, to hurt you like this was never once my goal.
And I know at some point that I'll see you again, probably sooner than I'd
hoped for,
But only because I'm fragile now and that is to be my downfall.
I'll always love you, don't doubt for a second that those words aren't
straight from my heart.
It's just for some reason I don't understand yet that it's best if we're
apart.
All I can ask is, when they take you, be strong on my behalf."
And they bid goodbye a final time, the dairy cow and her calf.
