Too many cats, too many cats,
Too many cats, and not enough rats,
They roam the streets and alleys at night,
No place is safe, from cats and their fights.
They growl and hiss, they scratch and bite,
They keep us up all through the night,
Their fur may be soft, their eyes may be bright,
But don't be fooled, their numbers just ain't right.
There's not enough rats for them to chase,
There are way too many, all over the place,
We need to find them homes to stay,
And neuter and spay to keep numbers at bay.
So let's be kind and lend a hand,
For all the cats that roam this land,
We'll find them homes and keep them fed,
And ensure they're happy, not filled with dread.
Too many cats, too many cats,
But we can help, that's where it's at,
Let's work together and do our part,
To solve this problem with love and heart.
