Animal Rights Poetry and Prose By Heidi Coon

Poems of compassion dedicated to the non-human animals who share this planet with us and the people who fight for them.

Weak
By Heidi Coon

Replace slaughterhouses with greenhouses

Nope, you want meat

We evolved from living in caves to living in houses

You want meat

We can buy literally anything, at anytime from online stores

Still eat meat

You glide through automatic grocery store doors

You eat meat

You justify your supremacy

You want to eat meat

You say this is the way it’s supposed to be

You love meat

For some animals you have zero compassion

You want meat to eat

Your message is delivered with cool detachment

You like eating meat

Non-vegan non-matured

For you, no change has occurred

You evolution-less, unfeeling, selfish turd.

DIG OUT YOUR SOUL
