Consumed with himself
He grooms his pet ego,
While his flesh's extension,
Screams in silence.
Day to day she fulfills
And in slumber, she dreams
Of another life,
And an ounce of respect.
The care and feeding of a wife
Is little and to be expected,
But her man's focus
Is what feeds her soul.
Ignore through ignorance
Or selfish intent,
Makes little difference
When writing alimony.
